The Italian Greyhound is a hound of diminutive size that has become the darling of the apartment dwellers in many large cities. Experts agree that the Italian Greyhound was bred down from the greyhound and in most respects is a smaller version of the Greyhound. In temperament it also resembles the Greyhound, for it is a dog that enjoys being with people and being pampered, it is a quiet and gentle dog that generally gets along with other dogs and is mannerly and affectionate.

Then, as an adult, she should visit the veterinarian yearly for shots and check up. Remember; avoid feeding your dog sweets.

Dog periodontal disease can lead to pain, loss of teeth, bad breath and other serious disease.

The toenails of the rear feet grow slower than the toenails of the front feet.

Life Span.

The Italian Greyhound can live between 14 and 16 years with proper nutrition, medical care and excellent living conditions.
